Roger Daltrey was born and raised in London, England.
As the lead singer of The Who Roger never over shadowed the band. Roger was the singer and Pete Townsend received much of the attention for his guitar playing and song writing.
In the beginning Roger was the lead guitarist for The Who but as the band evolved Pete became the lead guitarist and Roger mostly fronted the band.
John Entwistle (bass), Keith Moon (drums) passed away in 1978 and Kenny Jones from Small Faces replaced Keith as drummer.
Roger plays flute, harmonica and guitar.
This track ” As Long as I have You is from his latest solo album of the same name and it has been an instant hit with fans across the globe.
There is not much that I can write about Roger that hasn’t already been written.
Enjoy
