Scott Helman is from Toronto, Ontario.
At age ten Scott was given his first guitar and by age fifteen he signed a development contract with Warner Music Canada.
At Warner he began writing sessions with two of the best songwriters Simon Wilcox and Tom Salter where he learned how to construct a song and how to build the ‘Hooks’ into the presentation.
Within a short while Scott began to place his songs on YouTube where he started to build a following.
By 2015 he released his first album “Augusta” and it began to sell in both Canada and the U.S. Bungalow hit number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100.
With this success Scott was given the opportunity to open for Walk Off the Earth on their U.S. tour and his U.S. record sales ex-ceded all expectations.
In 2016 Scott was nominated for two Junos for song writing and it is assured many more are indeed on their way.
This year Scott released his second album “Hotel de Ville” to rave reviews and the album has been burning up the charts.
