Quarterflash is from, Portland, Oregon and was really active from 1980 to 1985, when they decided to take a break and then stopped altogether until 1990.

By 1990 the group was hungry for the limelight once again and began touring the small circuits and then the casino circuits and then the summer circuits.

The group is still active and their shows are a combination of their hits, new songs and covers.

Rindy Ross (lead vocals, saxophone), Marv Ross (lead guitar), Jack Charles (rhythm guitar), Rick DiGiallonardo (keyboards), Rich Gooch (bass) and Brian Willis (drums).

Having a female lead singer who also played saxophone made the band notable. Rindy has been quoted as saying that she felt ‘The saxophone is an extension of my voice and allows me to express things that I could not express with my voice alone’.
