Creedence Clearwater Revival was formed in 1958.

Doug Clifford (Drums Vocals) and Stu Cook. (Bass Vocals)


Although they were from the San Francisco Bay area most

people thought they were from the Southern U.S.

The band has been described as a Rock band as well as 

Rock Country, Rock Blues, Southern Rock and of course

Rock Swamp Rock. 

In 1972 the band folded saying they needed a rest for family.

There was short revival in 1993 as the band went on a 

greatest hits tour in remembrance of Tom Fogerty who

passed away in 1990 of Tuberculous.

John Fogerty has had a staggard career of a few new songs 

and Creedence hits in his solo career.
