Michael Buble is from Burnaby, B.C. His father was a salmon fisherman and Michael spent many summers with his father learning the trade of being a fisherman.
He began singing at an early age and was encouraged by his grandfather to continue singing all the Crooner songs that he loved even though all his friend were into Rock and Roll.
Michael won the British Columbia Youth Talent Search to wide acclaim which brought him the attention of fellow Canadian David Foster, who signed him to 143 Records.
His first self titled album released in 2001 reached the top ten in Canada and the U.K.
By the time he released his second album “It’s Time Tour” Michael was a star all over the world.
His music is Jazz, Contemporary Pop and Show Tunes. He is without a doubt the number one male singer in the world.
To date Michael has ten albums which have garnered twelve Junos one I Heart Award, nine world Awards and one AMA award.
Michael has appeared in nine films and fifty television shows.
