Sometime back in 2013? Jim started sending out emails to
friends and family. Emails with a song he liked and a wee bit of information
about the song, the singer or both. After a few years, some time around 2017, I
decided that maybe he should create a website. A blog. Some way to showcase his
love of music.
Well, since I am his IT Support (I know! Scary!) I decided
to create the website for him.
He was sending out the emails on Monday. But Monday
Music.calm was taken, so was Music Monday.calm, so was Musical Monday, Monday
With Music. Any variation of Monday and Music was taken.
While I was Googling a few music blogs, I was listening to
Jim’s songs and a few of them were getting stuck in my head. And since I can get distracted by so many
little things. I got distracted and started Googling ‘songs stuck in your head
and how to get rid of them’. I came across an article from Wired magazine
(sorry, so long ago, I can’t remember the date. If you care, you can Google it.
I just need to reference it so I don’t get arrested for plagiarizing. I just
did that. Reference the article, that is). The Wired article referred to the
phenomena of getting a song stuck in your head as earworm clutter. Earworm
clutter, I like it! But I didn’t like the worm part. Reminded me of the old
Vincent Price movie. The Tingler. Very Campy. Good for a laugh!
So, I, Cathy, Jim’s WP-Admin Mistress created a web site for
him named Ear Clutter.
And hear it is. Get hear instead of here because it’s about
songs?
As Jim always says.
Enjoy
