Trooper was formed at Vancouver, British Columbia in 1975 as Applejack.

Ra Maguire (guitar), Brian Smith (guitar), Scott Brown (bass), Clayton Hill (drums) and GoGo (keyboards). Don’t ask! 

Performing one evening at Vancouver, Randy Bachman heard them play and signed them the next day to his Legend Label and it was Randy who changed their name to Trooper.

The group has been going strong since that time and are still touring after 43 years on the road. They love playing to crowds large or small.

If you see them playing near you —- Go buy a ticket — You’ll go and buy an album the next day. They put on a great show.

This track “Janine “—- everybody loves it. You just feel good after hearing it and the song stays with you.

People have named their daughters ‘Janine’ because they love the song.
