Kylie Ann Minoque is from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Kylie began her career in acting on the Australian Soap Opera ” Neighbours “.  As her singing career began to grow, she continued acting. 

Kylie became Australia’s largest selling Female recording star.

She began by singing Motown Covers like the Locomotion and made a career of covers. Then she began to write her own songs.

The Locomotion was originally written for “Dee Dee Sharp (Mashed Potatoes) but she turned the song down. Then ” Little Eva ” turned it into a hit.

The song itself is notable for being in the Top Three (Thrice or 3 Times) in three different decades.
