Formed in Manchester, England The Hollies evolved into this most loved band that has produced 39 albums.
Allan Clarke and Graham Nash were singing as duo when in 1962 they decided that being a group would be the better choice for a musical career.
Eric Haycock, Tony Hicks and Bob Elliott were added and shortly thereafter they became The Hollies named after the Christmas Ornament.
By 1972 both Clarke and Nash had left the band stating that they wanted to pursue other ventures, but The Hollies added two new members and continued on.
Over the years 13 other musicians have come and gone but the good ship “Hollies” just keeps rolling along.
Only Tony Hicks and Bob Elliott have remained with the band since 1962.
The Long Cool woman begins with a long riff and the video opens and closes with the beautiful stunning Charlotte Rampling who has become over the years
‘The Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress’.
