Streetheart formed at Regina, Saskatchewan in 1977. The band has been touring ever since that day.

Daryl Gutheil (keyboards), Ken Sinnaeve (bass), Kenny Shields (vocals, guitar), Paul Dean (guitar) and Matt Frenette (drums).

Streetheart has opened superstar bands from Canada, the U.S., England, and Australia, such as, Rush, April Wine, Styx, Blue Oyster Cult and AC /DC just to name a few of the bands with whom they toured.

Over the years the group has released twelve albums. Have won one Juno Award, two Golden Reel Awards, one Chimo Award and have been voted the most popular band by the People’s Choice Awards.

As a group they just keep touring, selling out their concerts and loving what they do.

Sad news, on July 21, 2017, while touring, lead singer Kenny Shields was rushed to hospital, for emergency heart surgery. Sadly, Kenny passed away that morning.

At present it is not known if the band will continue on.
