Born Karen Lynn Greening at Bellevue, Ontario. She became Lee Arron in a roundabout way.
At age fifteen, she was singing in a High School Musical when a group of rockers happened to stop by and heard her sing.
After the show, the rockers invited her to join their band Lee Arron and be their lead vocalist.
Karen had always thought of herself as contemporary singer, more like a Pop Star and in a short while Karen became ”Queen of Metal”.
The name Lee Arron became associated with Karen because she was the Lead Vocalist of the group. The boys didn’t care because they knew it was the name of the band and they were becoming successful.
When asked about the name, the boys said that they liked the name and thought it would be a good name for a Metal Band, but admit that it was Karen’s voice that the power in their music.
Ten albums later, they were still rocking.
