The members of Boston are in fact from Boston but the band as named Boston at Los Angeles by their record producers Tom Stolz (guitar) formed the band while studying at MIT with Jim Masdea (drums) and Barry Goudreau (guitar) and later added Brad Delp (guitar, vocals) and Fran Sheehan (bass)

After the passing of Brad Delp,Tommy DeCarlo was added as Lead Vocalist.

Boston is one of the more musical groups that anyone can see in Concert. All their instruments are used and flavoured throughout their songs.
