Today’s selection was requested by Rob as a song everyone on the Music List would enjoy.

The song itself was written by Michael Burton and sung by Don Edwards.

Many other artist’s have covered the song as well.

There is much power and truth in the song and I hope that everyone enjoys it.

Rob is one of our finest Citizen’s. An Afghanistan Veteran who believes in Duty and Honour.

Rob says that the song was a favourite of many soldiers and I think I can understand why.

Night Patrols (day as well) can be a lonely and a challenging task for the soldiers involved. 

Rob was also a Sniper a lonely and high-risk activity.

A Canadian Hero to the 10th degree.
