The Spinners are from Ferndale, Michigan.

Bill Henderson, Edgar Edwards, Bob Smith, Henry Fambrough and Pervis Jackson

As a group they have been touring since the late fifties.

Among many other Musical Groups, I must admit that The Spinners are my favourite.

The group is also known as The Detroit Spinners and The Motown Spinners in Europe to avoid confusion with a British Folk group with the same name.

Their shows were always vocally and musically tight.

I would suggest that you pick up a Greatest Hits album if you feel so inclined.

“The Rubberband Man” is one of my favourites.
