Men Without Hats was formed at Montreal, Quebec in 1977.

The group is a six-man unit with three brothers; Ivan (vocals), Stefan (bass) and Colin (guitar) Doroschuk along with Don Hill (guitar), Pete Seabrooke (guitar), John Given (drums) and synthesizers galore.

As well various other musicians have joined the group on and off for recordings and tours.

Beginning at McGill University in 1977, the band is still going strong with dedicated fans of the band and their synthesizers and electronic music.  Many films over the past twenty years have featured Men Without Hats music.

Recently the band has returned from an Australian Tour and are now involved in recording a new album scheduled for release in 2018.

To date the group has recorded fifteen albums and have awards from around the world.
