Houndmouth formed in 2011 at New Albany, Indiana.

The group describes themselves as Country Alternative but you can hear influences of all musical genres.

The band consists of Matt Myers (Lead Vocals, Guitar) Zak Appleby (Bass, Vocals) Shane Cody (Drums, Vocals) and Katie Toupin (Synthesisers, Vocals).

Katie has recently left the band to pursue her own musical endeavors.

To date Houndmouth has recorded just two albums and can be best described as a working band. still in pursuit of the dream.
