The Washboard Union is from Vancouver, British Columbia and consists of members David Roberts, Chris Duncombe and Aaron Grain (who for some reason likes the stage name of Brett Ellis – were not sure why?)

Met at school and finding that they had the same musical interests, they began to write songs, sing and harmonize together. The group felt that they could succeed as a musical entity.

Signing with Slaight Records and Warner Records the little group that could – actually did.

On two albums the Band has won two Canadian Country Awards from two nominations.  Nominated for two “Canadian Radio Music Awards” and won a “British Columbia Music Award”.

All of this brought the attention of Nashville Producer Trey Bruce, who produced their extended play album “In My Bones” which reached the top five of the ‘Billboard Country Chart’.

The Washboard Union has a long and successful career ahead of them.
