Washboard Union is from Vancouver, British Columbia.

The band started in 2010 when Dane Roberts, Aaron Grain and Chris Duncombe met and found that the three of them liked the same things and the same kind of music.

Before long they had become fast friends and found that they all played musical instruments.

It wasn’t long before they were jamming and writing songs together. Within a short while the trio added some musicians that they knew individually and formed a band called Run GMC.

Eventually they changed their name to Washboard Union as they released their first album in 2012.

In the last five years the group has had twenty-two Juno nominations and have won eight Junos.

These guys are just good.
