In 2014 Aline Mota (vocals) and Anne Glober (vocals) decided to invite their guitar teacher Ricardo Maranho (vocals, guitar) to play on a music video in which the girls would sing.
Ricardo listened and said, ‘We need more members.’ They added Zia Leme (vocals), Leonardo Lopes (drums), Piatra Sfair (bass) and Tiago Juk (guitar, vocals).
By 2015 they produced an album of covers (which has become a trade mark for the band) to modest success in Brazil.
Piatra’s sister Indiara Sfair (vocals, harmonica) was added to the band.
Their next album sold world wide (covers and some Brazilian originals).
Their music always seems to have a Latin undercurrent that you can hear softly playing in and around their music.
Indiara became so popular she became a worldwide sensation and spokesperson for Hohner Harmonica. Indiara is considered one of the top harmonica players in the world.
Milk’N blues became a phenomenon with articles being written about them in music magazines all over the world.
Milk’N Blues is just a great band. I’m sending two videos for your enjoyment.
I collected my two harmonicas and I have bought a ticket for Brazil.
I’m strangely attracted to Brazil. At present I am not sure exactly what it is that attracts me, but I’m sure that I will find out, as I am on a quest of desire.
Enjoy
