The High Strung are from Detroit, Michigan.

Formed in the late nineties as The Masons, the group changed their name to The High Strung when Chad Stocker joined the band.

Nothing is quite clear as to why they choose that name. There is much speculation on the subject as well as many guitar associations and some drug innuendos. No one seems to know and the band isn’t saying anything on the matter.

This Track “The Luck You Got” is the lead-in to the opening credits for the television show “Shameless” where all the characters could use some good luck, as luck, seems to be all that they really have going for them. 

The band has recorded fifteen albums over the years to critical acclaim.
