I think, therefore I am (Rene Descartes)

I have thoughts. You have thoughts. Jim has thoughts. So, I thought I would create a page for Jim’s thoughts called Thoughts About … I thought very long (about a minute) and hard (my hair hurts) about the title. I was thinking about thoughts and then suddenly the thought to call the page Thoughts Abouts … just came to me. Thoughts About … can be use to post those thoughts from Jim after he thinks a thought. And he can share that thought, if he thinks it would be good to share that thought with you.

Musical Thoughts About … Why Are Objects in The Mirror Closer Than They Appear? (written by Jim Steinman, recorded by Meatloaf)

Unmelodious Answer: The phrase “objects in (the) mirror are closer than they appear” is a safety warning that is required to be engraved on passenger side mirrors of motor vehicles in the United States, Canada, Nepal, India, and Saudi Arabia. It is present because while these mirrors’ convexity gives them a useful field of view, it also makes objects appear smaller. Since smaller-appearing objects seem farther away than they actually are, a driver might make a maneuver such as a lane change assuming an adjacent vehicle is a safe distance behind, when in fact it is quite a bit closer. The warning serves as a reminder to the driver of this potential problem.

Then I thought that when Jim had other thoughts I would need a way to put all the thoughts together but in a way that you could see them together, like under Thoughts About … I would make other pages for the other thoughts and then link those thoughts to the main page Thoughts About … But then I thought that linking thoughts to Thoughts About … would be too time consuming.

Musical Thoughts About … Does Thunder Only Happen When It’s Raining? (written by Stevie Nicks, recorded by Fleetwood Mac)

Unmelodious Answer: No, thunder and lightning can occur without rain. It’s usually called “dry lightning”. However, thunder and lightning can also occur several miles away from a thunderstorm, called “bolt out of the blue”.

So, I thought again. Then I thought of a thoughtful way to show all the thoughts under Thoughts About … Well, I thought I would create a drop-down menu for all those thoughts that Jim thinks of.

Musical Thoughts About … Do Doves Actually Cry? (written and recorded by Prince)

Unmelodious Answer: Well, they can make a sound like crying.

I thought this would be much easier for me to use whenever I had to post a new Jim thought on the page Thoughts About …

Follow up Musical Thoughts About … Why Are The Doves Crying?

Unmelodious Answer: Well, they are flying in Purple Rain. That can’t be good for them!

I’m just thinking.
