The Sadies are from Toronto Ontario.

The band is classified as Alternative Country… Country, and Country and Western.

The group began in 1994 and the lineup has remained the same since that time.

Brothers Travis ( Guitar )  and Dallas Good ( Guitar ) along with Sean Dean ( Drums ) and Mike Belitsky ( Bass ) Travis and Dallas had the good fortune of being raised in a musical family as their uncles Brian and Larry Good  are the leaders of the ” Good Brothers Band “. As well, collectively the Sadies are members of the ” Unintended ” along with ” Greg Keelor of Blue Rodeo “, ” Rick White of Eric’s Trip ” and ” Garth Hudson of  The Band “.

The group has also collaborated on albums with ” Blue Rodeo ” John Langford, Gord Downie,  and Neil Young 

To date the band has released 16 albums..

As I was writing this small Biography  of  The Sadies a news bulletin flashed across my computer stating that Dallas Good had passed away at age 48.
