Joe Cocker from Crookes, Sheffield, United Kingdom.

Joe began his Career in 1966 with the Grease Band and stayed until the band disbanded in 1969. It was then that Joe decided to go on his own.

Joe was known for his gritty bluesy voice and Dynamic stage performances that featured expressive body movements… that just seemed to fit his character.

After seeing him in a Live performance, I was captively blown away by his performance.  I was a fan.

Sadly Joe passed away in 2014 at age 70.

Over the years Joe released 22 albums.
