Joan Osborne is form Detroit Michigan.

Joan has a had meandering career with successes and some disappointments.

Her biggest hit was the wonderful thoughtful tune “One of Us” that had the interesting line of ‘What if Jesus was One of us just riding on a bus’. It was a bullet as fans loved the song.

As all major talents, you new something great would happen to Joan.

She was asked to sing at a Motown Repertoire evening. Saying yes to the request that would in fact catapult her career along with the band that had toiled for so many years, A world class band that played on every Motown Record ever recorded.

Jimmy Ruffin’s song “What becomes of the Broken Hearted” was just another song on the list for the evening but Joan sings from her soul and the crowd was mesmerized and went wild.

Joan and the band went on tour breaking sell out records and fans demanding extra nights everywhere they opened.

If you read that they are playing in your home town:  GO buy a ticket.

Do not stop and think about it, just buy the ticket and enjoy some of finest music and singing that you will ever hear.

I sent this song out a couple of years ago but I missed it and I am hoping that you missed it as well.

Enjoy
