George Harrison from Liverpool, England.
There is not much I can add to George’s life as there were volumes written about him as a Beatle.
Although Lennon and McCartney wrote the majority of The Beatles catalogue I think it is important to know that George wrote 22 songs on the Beatle’s catalogue. “As My Guitar Gently Weeps”, “Something” and “Here Comes the Sun” to mention a few.
As well Ringo wrote two songs for the catalogue. “Don’t Pass Me By” and “Octopus’s Garden”.
After The Beatle’s broke up George went on a Musical Quest.
He wrote songs for himself and other artists. He arranged many songs for Madonna, Ron Wood, Jesse and Ed Davis to name a few.
Then he organized “The Travellin’ Wilburys”. Talk about a Supergroup
George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynn, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty along with session drummer Jim Keltner
If you enjoy music …you will enjoy George Harrison
Enjoy
