The Darling were formed at Redondo Beach, California in 2008.  

The group has been considered a Blue-Collar Punk Band, but the band spent considerable time in developing their craft and musical timing.

Uddy Darling (guitar, vocals), Cris Kranes (bass, vocals), Zacc Westin (guitar, vocals) and Josh Frasen (drums).

In 2010 the group released a seven song EP, just to attract some attention around California.

The NHL San Jose Sharks picked one of their songs “What Lays Below” as a promotional soundtrack which in turn attracted the attention of  The Vans, who gave The Darlings the opportunity to be the opening act on The Vans cross country tour.

The Darlings have grown in popularity with each new song and outing.
